I love the idea of this envelope message wall. It would look so pretty in pictures and you can use it for any color scheme. This would even make a fantastic back drop for a photo booth (an alternative to the fabric back drop or the conventional photo booth set up) so it is multi-functional! This coral color is sweet and fun at the same time.
We all love photo booths and where there is a photo booth there are wedding guests! I don’t think I’ve been to a wedding where the photo booth was empty, there’s usually a line waiting. The best photo booths are the kinds that let you get silly and have fun, and this photo booth at a vintage Hampton’s wedding really lets the guests have a grrrreat time!
I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA everyone, but I’ve been working on a new project: a baby blog! As I embark on the motherhood journey I’ve realized that there isn’t a blog out there that had everything I was looking for, so I decided to start one of my own *fingers crossed*. I will still update the wedding blog from time to time, but my blogging attention will mainly shift to the baby blog now. If you love cute things (whether you’re a parent, parent-to-be, aunt, uncle, sibling, grandparent, nanny…) you’ll enjoy the new blog! I’m no expert on parenthood, but I wanted to share my experiences and what I found useful as a mama.
If these fonts and the romantic setting of Paris don’t inspire you, then I don’t know what will. I want to use every single font they used and make posters and invitations and cards! Tis a happy video, makes my heart swoon.
… Elsie Larson’s (of A Beautiful Mess) bridesmaids! Playful but stylish hairstyles in all sorts of colors, and simple dresses with a pop color in the legs. This wedding captured the essence of fun. Color palette? What’s that? It takes a lot of good taste to make it such a “beautiful mess”!

As I was shopping with my little guy at the mall a few weeks ago, something caught my eye - GAP kids/baby window display! Have you seen it? It’s very cute and oddly enough, it would be a great wedding element! They used different shades of blue paper rosettes in various sizes and trims and layered them in varying heights and depths. It just looks so cohesive and interesting at the same time. So if you’re a DIY kind-of bride looking to add a fun element to your wedding, take a walk in the mall and let GAP inspire you - you really find inspirations all around you! And if you’re not so much a DIY bride but still want a DIY-feel & whimsy in your wedding, then I would jump on this paper rosette backdrop from 100 Layer Cake’s marketplace! For those who are unsure about their color palette, this is one of my faves that work for any season!
It was an honor to be featured on Snippet & Ink this past week! Zoe & John’s wedding in all it’s details! It was fun to see what part of the wedding readers enjoyed most. Thank you Kathryn of Snippet & Ink for the feature, thank you Jose Villa for the beautiful pictures again, and thank you everyone for the wonderful comments!
Hello! I started taking an online blogging class (first class was this Monday) and I’m very excited! The class is taught by Holly of Decor8 & Leslie of A Creative Mint so I feel so lucky to have such talented teachers, and I know I’ll be learning a lot from them! I’ve always wondered about the “rules” of blogging and this is my chance to learn as much as I can about the blogging world and improve on what I’ve already started. I honestly don’t know if I have any readers out there (other than my FB friends who are forced to see my updates because they show up on their news feed), so I have a feeling something must be wrong with what I’m doing because to me, a successful blog is one where I see a bunch of strangers leaving messages just because they enjoyed reading an entry or want to know more about the blogger or just because. I’m inspired to become one of those successful bloggers some day. So I will be taking a short break from blogging while I take this e-course, simply because I don’t want to keep doing something wrong if in fact I am doing something wrong (which I’ll find out through this class *fingers crossed*) and I will be returning bigger and better! For those who do already read my blog, thank you so much for the support wherever you are! If you have any feedback to help me improve and grow, I would love to hear/read it! In the meantime, I’ll say “see you soon” until the end of March!
